Delane Arrington is the Building Maintenance Supervisor for the City of McAlester. Delane is a native of West Virginia and moved to McAlester in 1993. His employment with the City began in April 1994 as a maintenance man. In December 1994 he was promoted to the position of Building Maintenance Superintendent.

Delane is responsible for maintenance on all City owned facilities. He must have a general working knowledge in the fields of plumbing, heat and air, electrical, and minor construction. He oversees the design and construction of all special projects and remodeling of City properties. In addition he is also in charge of all maintenance of the big pools and wading pools in the summer. He holds a National CPO Certificate, as a certified pool operator. His job requires that he be on 24 hour call.
