Rusty Clifton is the Cemetery Sexton for the City of McAlester. Rusty began working for the City in 1975 at the age of 19. In 1988 he became the Cemetery Sexton and has held that position to date.

Rusty supervises the cemetery operations at Oak Hill Cemetery at 13th and Washington and North McAlester Cemetery at 7th and Hereford Lane. He and his crew handle all the mowing maintenance and burials at both Cemeteries. The maintenance building and Sexton's Office are located at Oak Hill. Oak Hill Cemetery is a full service cemetery, which means we make full setups, tents, greens, chairs, lowering devices, etc. We do not do setups at North McAlester Cemetery. Closed on Sunday
