Rotary Park

 
 

Located at 801 N. 9th Street

This is an 8-acre Community Park with a 3/4 mile plus .62 tenth mile walking and jogging trail.  This Park contains the Elmer Hale Amphitheater,, which seats 400 and the Debra Saunier Pond.  It also has a covered picnic pavilion with tables, benches, electricity, running water, and a barbeque grill.  There is a fenced playground next to the pavilion.  On the North side of the Park is the Rotary House for family members of patients in the hospital who need temporary housing.

This is a 13.9-acre Neighborhood Park, which has Pathways, Playground Equipment, and Parking

 
     
 

Jeff Lee Park

 
 

Located at 3rd Street & Fillmore Avenue

This is a 3-acre Neighborhood and Community Park.  It has an outdoor swimming pool and wading pool with restrooms and concession.  There is a small covered area at the pool for those who are watching their children swim.  The Park area has some playground equipment.  There is ample parking by the pool.

This is a 6.4-acre Park with a covered picnic pavilion, restrooms, parking, and playground.  This Park also has 2 baseball fields (one with lights) and a new Skateboard Park.

Located at 4th Street & Krebs Street

This is a 2-acre Neighborhood Park with a covered picnic pavilion, wading pool, restrooms, and playground with new equipment.  This Park also has a baseball field and parking lot.  The Historical Choctaw Indian Court House is located on the south end of the park but is not open to the public.

This is a 12.7-acre Park with an outdoor swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, a baseball field, playground, restrooms and covered picnic pavilion.  There is also a 3/4 mile walking trail.

Located at West Street & "G" Street

This is a 1-acre Neighborhood Park with a picnic table and barbeque grill.  There is also a 1/2 mile walking trail.

Located at "B" Street & Jefferson Avenue

This is a 1.9-acre Neighborhood Park that includes a wading pool, restrooms, baseball field all purpose court with basketball goals, and playground with new equipment.  This Park also has a new pavilion with picnic tables.

This is a 1-acre Neighborhood Park, recently renovated, that includes a wading pool, new restrooms, new playground equipment and 2 pavilions with picnic tables and charcoal grill.

Located at 13th Street and McArthur Avenue

This is a 27.8-acre Community Park.  This Park has the McAlester Arboretum and Mike Deak Baseball Stadium, a little league baseball field and a multi-purpose field on the south end.  The north end of this park has Elmer Hale Complex.  This complex has 2 baseball fields and 2 softball fields along with restrooms and concession.  The Park is surrounded by a 1 mile walking and jogging trail and has ample parking.

This is a small 2-acre Neighborhood Park with limited playground equipment.  It has a canal running thru the Park with a covered bridge crossing it for convenience.

Located at Chadick Avenue between 3rd & 6th Streets

This is a 10.2-acre Community Park.  It has 4 tennis courts, wading pool, restrooms, playground equipment, gazebo and a covered picnic pavilion.  This Park contains several other McAlester Attractions: The Boy's and Girl's Club of McAlester and The Coal Miners Memorial are located at 3rd & Chadick Avenue.  The War Memorial and God's Little Angle Memorial are located on 6th Street and Chadick Avenue.

Located at 14th Street & Chickasaw Avenue

This is a 7.6-acre Neighborhood Park containing a baseball field, basketball courts, wading pool, restrooms and new playground equipment.  This Park also has 2 small picnic pavilions, a walking trail, and ample parking.
