The Main Senior Center is located in the J.1. Stipe Recreation Center with a smaller sub-center located at the McAlester Housing Authority, 600 W. Kiowa. The main Center has a fully equipped kitchen that prepares hot lunches 5 days a week for approximately 225 seniors. We have (2) 16-passenger buses that transport seniors that can not drive to and from the Centers each day for meals and activities. They also have a weekly trip to Wal-Mart and transportation to doctor's appointments. Homebound meals are available for those who qualify.
