Randy Norman, Softball Complex Manager, is the supervisor over all activities at the Softball Complex. He was born in Amarillo, Texas and spent most of his youth overseas in Okinawa and England. He and his wife moved to the McAlester area in 1989 they have 2 daughters.

Randy began at the Softball Complex in 1996 as a contract employee. At that time there were only 2 fields completed. In 1998 when all 4 fields were completed Randy was promoted to Complex Manager on a full time basis. Randy has over 100 hours of formal training in soil conditions, turf technology, sprinkler systems and ball field management. He is responsible for the mowing, maintenance of a total 30 acres and daily preparation of 4 ball fields. He also oversees the leagues, tournaments and concession.

The Pittsburg County Softball Complex located west of the City on Highway 270 is a four field wagon wheel complex with a full concession, restrooms, score boxes and offices. Their ball season begins in March each year with Fast Pitch Junior College and Slow Pitch High School Games. They offer a Men's and Co-ed's slow pitch warm up league in spring, a regular league in summer, and a mini league after the regular league. They also offer a church league in fall. In addition to the adult leagues offered they offer girl's youth fast pitch league for 10 - 12 - 14 and under and a high school league.

During the spring, summer and fall they will also host several ASA Invitation and Championship Tournaments, Junior College Fast Pitch Tournaments, and the ORES State Championship Tournament.
