STEM Programming

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are vital to advanced manufacturing. To help address the workforce shortages in STEM-related occupations, McAlester Public Schools (MPS) is committed to integrating STEM into and outside of the classroom. Through a local bond initiative, MPS was able to build STEM labs at three different schools.

Local Success Story
At the 2018 TSA State Contest, students in the McAlester High School Technology Student Association swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Project Fair competition.
