Fire Protection Board of Appeals
The board meets as needed. Meeting times will be posted.
The Board of Appeals shall be composed of five members, citizens of the City, each appointed by the mayor, with the approval of the City Council, for a term of three years. Two alternate members shall be appointed with overlapping terms of three years. No less than two members shall be appointed from the membership of the Planning Commission.
The board shall be empowered to hear and decide appeals when it is alleged there is an error in any order requirement, decision, or determination made by any administrative official in the interpretation or enforcement of the fire prevention codes.
The board was established by council September 28, 1999, Ord. No. 2103.
