Code Enforcement

City Code Enforcement
Code enforcement ensures that the public observes city codes and ordinances. The main goal of code enforcement is to bring to the attention of residential and business owners any existing code violation that could have a negative impact on their property, neighborhood and the community as a whole. Compliance can reduce vandalism, deter crime, maintain property values, and prevent deterioration of our neighborhoods.

Common Code Violations
  • Accumulation of trash and debris
  • High grass and weeds
  • Improper parking of trailers
  • Junk or inoperable vehicles
  • Open storage of inoperable refrigerators and appliances
  • Sight obstructions
