Senior Citizen Nutrition Program

McAlester’s Senior Citizen Nutrition Program offers free hot meals to McAlester residents 60 and older each weekday. The meals are prepared at the Senior Citizen Center at the J.I. Stipe Center and are served to about 4,000 seniors each month at the J.I. Stipe Center and the West Kiowa Center, and are delivered to about 2,500 homebound residents each month.

Lunches are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday at the J.I. Stipe Center, 801 N. Ninth St..

A $1.50 donation is suggested for each meal.
